Partnerships Related to Homelessness

We work closely with area organizations to increase access to health care services for persons experiencing homelessness in our target communities, including women and children who have experienced domestic violence who are living in sheltered houseing. A Registered Nurse from Community Nurse provides triage services at the BEDS Day Program location (Open Monday – Friday, 10am – 2pm at Emmanuel Episcopal Church, 203 Kensington, La Grange – enter at Catherine Avenue, wooden door marked “BEDS Plus”. Center is on the 2nd floor.) and our staff works closely with BEDS to facilitate access to medical, mental and oral healthcare services at our clinic sites on Calendar Avenue.
