How You Can Help
Donate or Volunteer
Community and medical volunteers are essential to running our agency. We are always looking for volunteers to help with our Corner Shoppe, Carousel Resale Shop, fundraising events and Secret Santa program. Our volunteer opportunities vary as much as the age of our volunteers, who range in age from 13 to 91. Teen community service hours welcome! If you have a volunteer project idea for your church, family or organization, or if you are interested in volunteering as an individual or taking a tour of the agency, please call 708-352-0081.

Volunteer
Community Nurse Health Association relies on its volunteers. More than 150 volunteers a week are needed to help in a variety of ways. Volunteer opportunities include:
Volunteer at our Shops
We always need sorters, pricers and cashiers for both retail shops. Teen and adult community service hours welcome. One time to weekly commitments are available.

Join the Women's Auxiliary
The Women’s Auxiliary mission is to gather service oriented women for the purpose of working together for volunteer and financial support of CNHA.
Join the more than 40 active women who are making a difference. This social group hosts an annual fundraiser as well as provides volunteer and financial support to our agency.
Be an Elf for Secret Santa
Volunteers in our Secret Santa program help fulfill gift requests for more than 900 children served at our clinic by shopping, organizing and distributing gifts.
Serve on the Board of Directors
Board members fundraise, act as ambassadors by sharing our story and shape the strategic direction of the agency. Non-board committee members are also needed.
Provide Professional Care
Our volunteer staff of medical personnel dedicates hundreds of hours a year to serving our patients.
Donate to our Shops
Our shops are a major source of funding for our clinics. One way to benefit your home and our agency is donate clothing, house wares, books or toys to the Carousel Shop. Donations may be brought to the red door at the rear of the shop by way of the alley (one-way headed west of La Grange Road, just south of Burlington) Monday-Saturday from 9am to 3pm. We also welcome your consignment furniture, unique antiques, vintage collectibles and estate jewelry at our Corner Shoppe. Click for more information on the consignment process.
Support our Special Events
Support our fundraising efforts by attending one of signature events. Purchase a ticket or provide a sponsorship for Fiesta de Mayo, the Waterfall Glen Xtreme 10 Race, or our Fall event.
