Health Care Home Fund

Health Care Home Fund

This fund helps Community Nurse in maintaining and updating facilities so that patients, their families and the CNHA staff have safe, clean, modern and uplifted environment to either receive care or work.  As the organization expands to meet growing demand current facilities may need to be renovated or consolidated to improve efficiency of service delivery.  This fund also helps CNHA acquire technology, a necessity for any modern healthcare center, and medical supplies for patient care.

Excellence in Care Fund

Excellence in Care Fund

The fund helps CNHA attract and train the medical professionals (doctors, nurses, dentists) who volunteer so much of their time for our patients.  It also helps support the many college and university residency and internships programs that CNHA offers collaboratively, and it helps in recruiting and sustaining a high quality and deeply committed professional and administrative staff who provide the infrastructure to the organization.

Open Hands, Open Hearts Fund

Open Hands, Open Hearts Fund

This fund helps CNHA in developing and implementing the programs and services offered to the communities we serve, whether on-site at our clinics or in public schools.  It also helps the organization's community outreach efforts to secure new patient audiences, as well as new contributor audiences, by engaging in partnerships and collaborations across the western suburbs.  By fostering stronger community relationships the organization is able to serve more people, more efficiently.

Commitment to Caring Fund

Commitment to Caring Fund

Any unrestricted gift that is not designated for a particular fund is directed to this fund.  It provides general operating support for Community Nurse Health Association's programs and services including the Adult, Pediatric and Dental Clinics and Healthy Beginnings.

Jean McCleod "Heart of Giving" Endowment Fund

This is a general endowment fund that secures the principal of gifts and uses the investment income earned to support the greatest needs of CNHA patients and operations, as determined by the CNHA board of directors.

Donor Designated Endowed Restricted Fund

Donor Designated Endowed Restricted Fund

This fund allows for the creation of a separate, named, endowed fund, specifically restricted for the purpose of supporting a need of a donor’s choosing.   It is a gift-in-perpetuity, the principal of which continues to increase in value while the interest is used to support programs.  Contributions may be added on an ongoing basis.
